FUSION STEEL RANGE - Strength, Safety, Design and Functionality.

Fusion HF up-and-over doors are based on an innovative design that combines the utmost expression of Ballan technologies. They are safe, resistant and insulated to protect both you and your garage.
They are compact, flush and stylish to match the surrounding architecture of your home. They are also ultra-silent and efficient in thermal terms.
Insulated panels: Ballan technology at its best

Unlike many of its competitors, Ballan produces its own door panels independently. An original production system, created in-house, guarantees high geometric precision, superior mechanical quality and perfect alignment of the panels.

The thickness of the insulated panel is 40 mm, produced in galvanised steel sheet, with a pre-painted and embossed finish. It is made up of two thermoplastic profiles, one lower and one upper, joined by two walls (inner and outer) in steel sheet.

Panel joining by means of inserted rubber seals guarantee air and water tightness. The internal polyurethane foam core, 100% HCFC free, is proof of Ballan's commitment to the environment, while the use of renewable materials such as the thermoplastic profiles contributes to a reduction in environmental impact.
Heat efficiency in respect of the environment

In order to technically improve the product, Ballan has designed a new sandwich panel, using new oversized thermoplastic profiles, to ensure increased strength and limit the use of metal.

This new panelling optimises insulation and sound-proofing efficiency. For example, a Fusion HF door measuring L 3500 x H 2400 mm with the standard outfit and surface mounted, obtains a thermal transmittance value of 1.6 W/m²K.

With simple cross-hatched grooving, this contemporary garage door is a touch of the avant-garde.
Angled channels give this design a unique and sophisticated look, conforming to modern and contemporary architecture.
A tasteful garage door that's sympathetic to traditional and contemporary architecture.
A timeless classic. Rectangular shapes are created through detailed carvings, making this door suitable for traditional settings.
Uniform squares are embossed into the wooden façade of this design, creating a traditional aesthetic.

Fusion up-and-over doors, internally and externally, are available as standard in the following RAL colours: 9016, 9002, 8019, 8017, 7016, 6009 and 6005. Ballan also offer the complete range of alternative RAL colours, although these will incur an additional charge. The exterior and interior of the Twin and Artek style doors feature a plastic "wood effect" film with lightly embossed finish, available in two shades: Light Oak and Dark Oak.

Natural light - the best solution for the garage.

The rectangular windows, in the size 380 x 190 mm, are in tempered shatter-proof glass, with minimal frames with a RAL finish, and the glazing can be selected with a range of satin finishes. The round window frames in stainless steel are available in the diameters 240 mm or 330 mm, with transparent or satin-finished security glass. The square windows in stainless steel are available in the sizes 310x310 mm or 260x260 mm, with transparent or satin-finished security glass.

Plates and handles in aluminium with satin brass or satin chrome finish. Supplied as standard with Defender lock system, which protects the cylinder from attempts at tampering or break-in (anti-tear and anti-drilling).

CE guarantee

The models in the Fusion HF range are constructed with the Sikura HF structure which uses 120 mm side jambs in heavy gauge pressed and galvanised steel.

Thanks to the CE marking and CE Declaration of Conformity – supplied by Ballan – which certifies full compliance with the product standard UNI EN 13241-1, the models in this range are ranked at the top in terms of accident prevention. Each Fusion HF up-and-over door is equipped with an "identity card" in the form of its CE nameplate, which provides unequivocal identification of the product and carries all the information required by statutory regulations.

The ERG operators applied to Ballan up-and-over doors are electronic masterpieces offering the highest levels of safety and efficiency.

Only the safest technology

Remote opening of your garage door is ultra-convenient. Thanks to Ballan, this simple action also corresponds to the safest choice because all operators are entirely designed in-house.

Safety of the “sensitive” motor

On all operators, the 24 V gearmotor, complete with on-board control unit (with “open-close” button) and force limiter device, interrupts and inverts movement on detection of an obstacle (maximum permissible force of 400N).

The ERG-1 and ERG-2 operators incorporate the motor and control panel in a single unit accommodated in a black plastic housing and mounted on the mobile leaf, with electrical wiring routed through a conduit. The motor arms with sliding block (Ballan patent), comply with the required safety clearances. Strengths of the ERG operator: - the single support and drive arm on the mobile section, is specially shaped to observe safety clearances and avoid finger pinching and shearing hazards; - variable force during opening and closing movements.

Internal view of the ERG-1 operator, envisaging a central motor applied on the central rail (on mobile leaf) with motor base and transmission tubes.   Internal view of the ERG-2 operator and pair of internal prefitted and prewired photocells (optional).

The lever arm and curved motor arm with sliding block (Ballan patent) ensure maintenance of the safety clearances and avoid the risk of finger crushing.
Operator accessories:
Pair of photocells 2. External receiver 3. 2-channel transmitter
24V flashing light 5. External terminal board for accessory wiring
